WEBINARS

Join our themed webinars for a chance to hear from a range of guest speakers across a diverse range of topics from curriculum and planning to music resources. Usually open to members only, we also run a once-per-term SPOTLIGHT WEBINAR focussed on curriculum and open to everyone.

TEACH MEETS

The MTA’s Teach Meets are an open and inclusive forum for teachers to learn, share and ask. Meeting monthly, the sessions give you an opportunity to learn from a fellow MTA member as they present their best practice on a specific topic, followed by an open discussion for teachers to share ideas and ask questions in a safe, non-judgemental environment.

THE HIBBINS SERIES

The Hibbins series reviews three key set works per term, with guest panelists from academics to performers talking through the score, and opening up questions. These sessions are open to MTA members’ students.

ECT SESSIONS

The MTA offers a programme of support sessions for early career teachers (ECT) starting their teaching careers.
