This annual gathering for anyone involved in school music administration has been happening for several years now and has become an invaluable day for learning skills, sharing new practice and networking between school music departments. With a packed programme and plenty of chance for Q&A recent days at Loughborough, London and Oxford have attracted our largest numbers of 50 delegates.
We are very pleased to return to Oxford and visit St Edward’s School.

12:00 Session Three – Timetabling How do you timetable all of your instrumental lessons and what advice can you share for other schools? Including a Q&A with Jonathan Maiden.
12:45 Session Four – TryBooking.com with Joan Lind presenting on the online booking system for your school concerts.

14:15 Session Five – Safeguarding in the Music Department Shelagh Willis, Safeguarding Co-ordinator – St Paul’s School, London, leads a session on the recent transformation of their safeguarding procedures together with the chance to feedback and discuss from your perspective.
15:00 Session Six – Hire & Inventory with Will Ring from Howarth of London presenting on the benefits of managing hire and repair of instruments through a corporate member with Q&A.
15:30 Session Seven – Forum including: Concert Ideas, Scholarships & ‘New to the role’
16:00 Departures and/or drive/walk to The famous Trout Inn on the River Thames, Godstow

Throughout the day you will be able to book a slot with CJM Software to talk on a one-to-one basis about your needs for management software and see the features they offer. If you already use the software you can seek advice and support.
Early Evening
Our Music Administrators INSET is an annual event, so this year we are extending the day to include a gathering over a drink/meal at the end of the day. The cost is not included but those who wish to stay can join together at The famous Trout Inn on the River.
