The MTA are hiring! Following a recent restructure, we are looking for two exceptional new team members to drive forward the strategy and growth of the organisation. These newly created roles will form of an integral part of a small employee team.

PROGRAMMES AND ENGAGEMENT MANAGER

 

ROLE BRIEF

The Programmes and Engagement Manager will be responsible for delivery of events and content, as well as leading on our membership communication. This varied role will be pivotal in the delivery of high-quality resources to support our teaching and corporate members. This position will be part of a small team, working closely with the Head of Growth and Operations and supported by the Operations Assistant.

REPORTS TO: Head of Growth and Operations

CONTRACT: Permanent, part-time contract based on 0.8 / 4 days per week

SALARY: £34,000 FTE, pro-rated

LOCATION: Home-working, with a £26 per month stipend. UK travel will be required to committee meetings, team meetings, conference, events and meetings; expenses will be reimbursed. The role may require evenings and weekends, with TOIL provided.

OTHER: Generous holiday allowance, auto-enrolment to the NEST pension scheme.

OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

 

ROLE BRIEF

The Operations Assistant will provide general operational support to the MTA, with a particular focus on membership. As a key point of contact for both teaching and corporate members, this role will ensure smooth running of our administration processes, and a seamless user experience. They will support the Programmes and Engagement Manager in the production of our large-scale events, as well as taking ownership of some of our online events and external  communications.

REPORTS TO: Head of Growth and Operations

CONTRACT: Permanent, part-time contract based on 0.6 / 3 days per week

SALARY: £23,000 FTE, pro-rated

LOCATION: Home-working, with a £26 per month stipend. UK travel will be required to committee meetings, team meetings, conference, events and meetings; expenses will be reimbursed. The role may require evenings and weekends, with TOIL provided.
